What is Turnoo?
Turnoo is a booking app for barbers, hair salons, beauty salons and other appointment-based businesses. On top of regular bookings, it turns every last-minute cancellation into a "Turnoo": a free slot offered straight away to people nearby.
What is a Turnoo?
A slot a business frees up at the last minute, usually because someone cancelled. It shows up in the app for nearby customers with a countdown and, if the business wants, a discount. Whoever books it first gets it, with no waiting lists.
How much does Turnoo cost for customers?
Nothing. Booking with Turnoo is free, and today Turnoo charges and holds nothing when you book: you pay for the service at the shop, directly to the business.
How much does Turnoo cost for a business?
Turnoo Business has three plans, excluding VAT: Solo (€29), Ritmo (€59) and Estudio (€99) a month. Paying every 6 months saves 10% and paying for the whole year saves 20% (extra professionals included). All of them include every feature; what changes is the number of professionals included, the number of businesses and the commission on recovered Turnoos (8%, 5% and 0%). Regular bookings never pay a commission.
What is the welcome gift?
It's the free time your first Turnoo Business subscription starts with, and it depends on the billing period you choose: 15 days free on monthly, 1 month free on 6-monthly and 2 months free on annual billing. A card is required to start it. When the gift ends, the full period is charged unless you have cancelled before, and we remind you 7 and 3 days before the charge by email, notification and a notice in the dashboard. There is one gift per account, ever: not per plan, per business or per billing period, and it doesn't come back if you cancel and return. Free-month codes replace the gift rather than adding to it, and codes that last several months ("X months free", "X% off for N months") only work on monthly billing.
Can I cancel? Is there a minimum term?
You can cancel anytime at biz.turnoo.app, under Plan > "Cancel subscription", with no minimum term and no penalty. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, or at the end of the gift if you're still in it, and you keep using Turnoo Business until then. If you cancel before the gift ends, you aren't charged anything.
Is the annual or 6-monthly plan refundable?
No: 6-monthly and annual periods that have already started are not refunded, except where the law requires it. If you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the paid period and doesn't renew. Before every 6-monthly or annual renewal we remind you 30 and 7 days before, so you can decide in time.
What happens if a payment fails?
If the first charge fails when the gift ends, the business is unpublished from the app and the account is frozen until it's paid. If a renewal fails and you have paid before, the service keeps working while the charge is retried, with a notice; if it still isn't paid, the account is frozen. While frozen, your data is kept and you can export it. Once you pay, the freeze is lifted and you republish your business.
Can I change my plan or billing period?
Yes, at biz.turnoo.app. Moving up a plan or to a longer billing period applies straight away and is prorated: what's left of the current period is credited. Moving down a plan or to a shorter billing period applies at the next renewal.
Why do you ask for a card for the welcome gift?
Because when the gift ends your subscription carries on without interruption if you haven't cancelled, and because it keeps the gift to a single use: it's one per account, and it doesn't repeat with the same card or phone number on another account. Nothing is charged until the gift ends, and we remind you before.
Where do businesses manage Turnoo?
In the browser, at biz.turnoo.app, where the plan is also purchased, and in the app's business mode.
Can I download the app yet?
Not yet. The app is in development and isn't on the App Store or Google Play yet. Once it's out, the "Open app" button on this page will take you to your store.
Where does Turnoo work, and in which languages?
Turnoo is launching in Barcelona. The app and this website are available in Spanish and English.
Which kinds of business can use Turnoo?
Businesses that work by appointment: hair salon, barber shop, nails, beauty salon, hair removal, brows & lashes, massage & spa, tanning salon, make-up and tattoo & piercing, and others such as dental clinics, podiatry or dog grooming.
